Kenneth Miller | Owner Operator of Miller Soft Wash

Hello, my name is Kenneth Miller and I am the owner and operator of Miller Soft Wash, a pressure washing company based in Elkhart, Indiana .

My wife Marla and I are blessed to have two beautiful children: our 2-year-old daughter Zayla Rose and our 3-year-old daughter Ezlyn Rain.

Before starting my own business, I worked as a certified car detailer for my brother Steven’s company, Diamond Star in Millersburg, Indiana. My brother gained some local fame a few years back when he detailed Air Force One.

Kenneth Miller Grew up Amish

I grew up in an Amish community, which you may be able to recognize from my Amish accent, according to some of my past customers.

As children, we had plenty of chores to keep us busy, including working on our family’s duck farm where we raised a total of 26,000 ducks in three barns.

One of the barns was used for research and development, with small pens containing 25 ducks each. We had to carefully measure out the feed for each pen and gather eggs every day, marking each egg with the date and pen number.

We also had to weigh each duck weekly and keep track of their weight. It was a lot of work, but it kept us out of trouble and taught us valuable life skills.

Despite growing up in an Amish community, I always had a fascination with technology and innovation. This curiosity eventually led me to pursue a career in the automotive industry as a car detailer. After a few years of working for my brother’s company, I decided it was time to branch out and start my own business. That’s when Miller Soft Wash was born.

Starting a business during the pandemic was not easy, but it was a blessing in disguise. It forced me to be creative and find new ways to reach customers, even if it meant going out of my comfort zone. And thanks to the supportive community in Elkhart, Indiana, my business has been able to thrive. I’ve met so many amazing people through this journey and have built lasting relationships with my customers.

In addition to running my business, I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and participating in outdoor activities. My wife and I love biking and love exploring the beautiful trails in Indiana. We also enjoy spending time at home with our children, playing games and creating memories together.

Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities and experiences that have come my way and am excited to see what the future holds for Miller Soft Wash.
